Iron Peggy

With 2018 marking the 100th-year anniversary of WWI, Iron Peggy is an excellent introduction to its history and a touching testimony that not only celebrates the First Nation participation in the war effort but also a young girl’s personal victory.

Damit stellt sich die Frage, welche Rolle die Medien in der Erziehung spielen. Welche Auswirkungen haben sie oder sollen sie haben? Wenn Kinder in einer Gesellschaft aufwachsen, in der Multimedia, Fernsehen, Computer und Internet selbstverständlich sind, dann kann die Antwort nicht darin bestehen, sie davon fernzuhalten. Die eigentliche pädagogische Herausforderung lautet: Erziehung der Kinder zur Medienkompetenz.
