      Ps 94,3 JAHWEH, wie lange sollen die Gesetzlosen, wie lange sollen die Gesetzlosen frohlocken (= ELBERFELDER)

      Ps 94,4 und so trotzig reden, und alle Übeltäter/ Frevler sich so rühmen?

      KJV + EL = How long shall they utter and speak hard things? And all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

      Ps 94,5 ALBRECHT = Dein Volk, O JAHWEH, zertreten sie, / Und sie bedrücken dein Erbe.

      KJV + EL = They break in pieces your people, O YAHWEH, and afflict your heritage.

      Ps 94,6 Witwen und Fremdlinge erwürgen sie und töten die Waisen

      KJV + EL = They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

      Ps 94,7 und sagen: „JAHWEH sieht es nicht, und der Gott [Elohim] Jakobs achtet es nicht.“

      KJV + EL = Yet they say, YAHWEH shall not see, neither shall the Elohim of Jacob regard it.

      Ps 94,8 Merket doch, ihr Narren unter dem Volk! Und ihr Toren, wann wollt ihr klug werden?

      KJV + EL = Understand, you brutish among the people: And you fools, when will you be wise?

      Ps 94,9 Der das Ohr gepflanzt hat, sollte der nicht hören? Der das Auge gemacht hat, sollte der nicht sehen?

      KJV + EL = He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? He that formed the eye, shall he not see?

      Ps 94,10 Der die Heiden züchtigt/ die Nationen zurechtweist, sollte der nicht strafen, - der die Menschen lehrt, was sie wissen?

      KJV + EL = He that chastises the nations, shall he not correct? He that teaches man knowledge, shall he not know?

      Ps 94,11 Aber JAHWEH weiß die Gedanken der Menschen, daß sie eitel sind.

      Ps 94,13 daß er Geduld habe, wenn es übel geht/ daß er ruhig bleibe in Unglückstagen, bis dem Gesetzlosen (= ELBERFELDER) die Grube bereitet werde!

      Ps 94,14 Denn der JAHWEH wird sein Volk nicht verstoßen noch sein Erbe verlassen.

      KJV + EL = For YAHWEH will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

      Ps 94,15 Denn Recht muß doch Recht bleiben, und dem werden alle frommen Herzen/ von Herzen Aufrichtigen zufallen.

      KJV + EL = But judgment shall return to righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

      Ps 94,16 Wer steht bei mir wider die Boshaften/ Frevler? Wer tritt zu mir wider die Übeltäter?

      KJV + EL = Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

      Ps 94,17 Wo JAHWEH nicht hülfe, so läge meine Seele schier [bald] in der Stille [in der Stille des Totenreiches]

      KJV + EL = Unless YAHWEH had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

      Ps 94,18 Ich sprach: Mein Fuß hat gestrauchelt/ wankt; aber deine Gnade, O JAHWEH, hielt mich.

      KJV + EL = When I said, My foot slips; your mercy, O YAHWEH, held me up.

      Ps 94,19 Ich hatte viel Bekümmernisse in meinem Herzen; aber deine Tröstungen ergötzten meine Seele/ erfüllten mit Wonne meine Seele.

      KJV + EL = In the multitude of my thoughts within me your comforts delight my soul.

      Ps 94,20 Du wirst ja nimmer eins mit dem schädlichen Thron [dem Thron des Verderbens], der das Gesetz übel deutet.

      KJV + EL = Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with you, which frames mischief by a law?!

      Ps 94,21 Sie rüsten sich gegen die Seele des Gerechten und verdammen unschuldiges Blut.

      KJV + EL = They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

      Ps 94,22 Aber JAHWEH ist mein Schutz/ meine hohe Feste; mein Gott [Elohim] ist der Hort meiner Zuversicht/ der Fels meiner Zuflucht.

      KJV + EL = But YAHWEH is my high tower; and my Elohim is the rock of my refuge.

      Ps 94,23 Und er wird ihnen ihr Unrecht/ ihre Ungerechtigkeit vergelten und wird sie um ihre Bosheit vertilgen; JAHWEH, unser Gott [Elohim], wird sie vertilgen.

      KJV + EL = And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; YAHWEH our Elohim shall cut them off.

      Psalm 95

      Ps 95,1 Kommt herzu, laßt uns JAHWEH frohlocken und jauchzen dem Hort unseres Heils/ unserer Errettung!

      KJV + EL = Oh come, let us sing to YAHWEH: Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

      Ps 95,2 Laßt uns mit Danken vor sein Angesicht kommen und mit Psalmen ihm jauchzen!

      KJV + EL = Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise to him with psalms.

      Ps 95,3 Denn JAHWEH ist ein großer Gott [El] und ein großer König über alle Götter [elohim].

      KJV + EL = For YAHWEH is a great El, and a great King above all elohim.

      Ps 95,4 Denn in seiner Hand ist, was unten in der Erde ist; und die Höhen der Berge sind auch sein.
