      Psalm 86

      Ps 86,1 Ein Gebet Davids. O JAHWEH, neige deine Ohren und erhöre mich; denn ich bin elend und arm.

      KJV + EL = A Prayer of David. Bow down your ear, O YAHWEH, and answer me: For I am poor and needy.

      Ps 86,2 Bewahre meine Seele; denn ich bin heilig. Hilf du, mein Gott [Elohim], deinem Knechte, der sich verläßt auf dich.

      KJV + EL = Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O you my Elohim, save your servant that trusts in you.

      Ps 18,21-27

      Ps 86,3 O JAHWEH, sei mir gnädig; denn ich rufe täglich zu dir!

      Ps 86,4 Erfreue die Seele deines Knechtes; denn nach dir, O JAHWEH, verlangt mich [ELBERFELDER = zu Dir, O JAHWEH, erhebe ich meine Seele].

      KJV + EL = Rejoice the soul of your servant: For to you, O YAHWEH, do I lift up my soul.

      Ps 86,5 Denn du, JAHWEH, bist gut und gnädig, von großer Güte allen, die dich anrufen.

      KJV + EL = For you, YAHWEH, are good, and ready to forgive; and abundant in lovingkindness to all them that call upon you.

      Ps 86,6 Vernimm, O JAHWEH, mein Gebet und merke auf die Stimme meines Flehens.

      Ps 86,7 In der Not rufe ich dich an; du wollest/ wirst mich erhören.

      Ps 86,8 O JAHWEH, dir ist keiner gleich unter den Göttern [Elohim], und ist niemand, der tun kann wie du.

      KJV + EL = There is non like you among the elohim, O YAHWEH; neither are there any works like to your works.

      Ps 86,9 Alle Nationen (Heiden), die du gemacht hast, werden kommen und vor dir anbeten, O JAHWEH, und deinen Namen ehren,

      KJV + EL = All nations which you have made shall come and worship before you, O YAHWEH; and shall glorify your name.

      Ps 86,10 daß du so groß bist und Wunder tust und allein Gott [Elohim] bist.

      KJV + EL = For you are great, and do wondrous things: You are God/Elohim alone.

      Ps 86,11 Weise mir, O JAHWEH, deinen Weg, daß ich wandle in deiner Wahrheit; erhalte mein Herz bei dem Einigen, daß ich deinen Namen fürchte.

      KJV + EL = Teach me your way, O YAHWEH; I will walk in your truth: unite my heart to fear your name.

      Ps 27,11

      Ps 86,12 Ich danke dir, O JAHWEH, mein Gott [Elohim], von ganzem Herzen und ehre deinen Namen ewiglich.

      KJV + EL = I will praise you, O YAHWEH my Elohim, with all my heart: And I will glorify your name for evermore.

      Ps 86,13 Denn deine Güte ist groß über mich; du hast meine Seele errettet aus dem untersten Scheol (= ELBERFELDER).

      KJV + EL = For great is your mercy toward me: And you have delivered my soul from the lowest sheol.

      Ps 86,14 O Gott [Elohim], es setzen sich die Stolzen wider mich, und der Haufe der Gewalttätigen steht mir nach meiner Seele, und haben dich nicht vor Augen.

      KJV + EL = O Elohim, the proud are risen against me, and a company of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set you before them.

      Ps 86,15 Du aber, O JAHWEH, bist ein Gott [El], (= ELBERFELDER) barmherzig und gnädig, geduldig und von großer Güte und Treue.

      KJV + EL = But you, O YAHWEH, are a El full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in lovingkindess and truth.

      2. Mose 34,6

      Ps 86,16 Wende dich zu mir, sei mir gnädig; stärke deinen Knecht mit deiner Kraft und hilf dem Sohn deiner Magd!

      KJV + EL = O turn to me, and have mercy upon me; give your strength to your servant, and save the son of your handmaid.

      Ps 86,17 Tu ein Zeichen an mir, daß mir‘s wohl gehe, daß es sehen, die mich hassen, und sich schämen müssen, daß du mir beistehst, JAHWEH, und tröstest mich.

      KJV + EL = Show me a sign for good; that they who hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because you, YAHWEH, have helped me, and comforted me.

      Psalm 87

      Ps 87,1 Ein Psalmlied der Kinder Korah. Sie ist fest gegründet auf den heiligen Bergen.

      KJV + EL = A Psalm for the sons of Korah; a Song. His foundation is in the holy mountains.

      Ps 87,2 JAHWEH liebt die Tore Zions über alle Wohnungen Jakobs.

      KJV + EL = YAHWEH loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

      Ps 87,3 Herrliche Dinge werden in dir gepredigt, du Stadt Gottes [Elohims]. (Sela.)

      KJV + EL = Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of Elohim. Selah.

      Ps 87,4 ELBERFELDER 1871 = Erwähnen will ich Rahabs und Babels / Babylon bei denen, die mich kennen; siehe, (von) Philistäa und Tyrus samt Äthiopien: dieser ist daselbst geboren.

      KJV + EL = I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this one was born there.

      Jes 30,7; Ps 68,32

      Ps 87,5 Man wird zu Zion sagen, daß allerlei Leute darin geboren werden und daß er, der Höchste, sie baue.

      KJV + EL = And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: And the Most High himself shall establish her.

      Ps 87,6 JAHWEH wird zählen, wenn er aufschreibt die Völker: „Diese sind daselbst geboren.“ (Sela.)

      Ps 87,7 Und die Sänger wie die im Reigen werden alle in dir singen, eins ums andere.

      Psalm 88

      Ps 88,1 Ein Psalmlied der Kinder Korah, vorzusingen, von der Schwachheit der Elenden. Eine Unterweisung Hemans, des Esrahiten. O JAHWEH, Gott [Elohim] meiner Rettung (= ELBERFELDER), ich schreie Tag und Nacht vor dir.

      KJV + EL + WEBSTER = A Song [or] Psalm for the sons of Korah, to the chief Musician upon Mahalath Leannoth, Maschil of Heman the Ezrahite. O YAHWEH, the Elohim of my salvation, I have cried day and night before you:

      Ps 88,2 Laß mein Gebet vor dich kommen; neige deine Ohren zu meinem Geschrei.

      KJV + EL = Let my prayer come before you: Incline your ear to my cry;

      Ps 88,3 Denn meine Seele ist voll Jammers, und mein Leben ist nahe am Scheol (= ELBERFELDER).

       KJV + EL = For my soul is full of troubles: And my life draws near to Sheol.

      Ps 88,4 Ich bin geachtet gleich denen, die in die Grube fahren; ich bin ein Mann, der keine Hilfe hat.

      KJV + EL = I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that has no strength:

      Ps 88,5 Ich liege unter den Toten verlassen wie die Erschlagenen, die im Grabe liegen, deren du nicht mehr gedenkst und die von deiner Hand abgesondert sind.
