Desafíos en la formación de psicólogos de las organizaciones y el trabajo es un libro que mueve al lector hacia la radicalización de la reflexividad, como diría Anthony Giddens, y hacia la posibilidad de enfrentar el mundo por medio de la construcción de nuevas formas de pensar y actuar, saliendo de una POT enraizada en el siglo XX, para entrar en una POT dirigida hacia el siglo XXI, sin la pretensión ni la ingenuidad de pensar que ahora todo es diferente. ¿Podríamos, tal vez, hablar de una continuidad con rupturas y fisuras? Handbuch Schulbibliothek
Selbstlernzentrum, Schulmediothek, Leseinsel oder Lernatelier – die Schulbibliothek hat viele Namen. Schöpfung ohne Schöpfer?
Die Entstehung der Lebewesen durch natürliche Evolution ist ein vehement verteidigtes Dogma der säkularen westlichen Kultur. Doch immer mehr Befunde führen an systematische Grenzen evolutionärer Erklärungen. Das räumen mittlerweile auch manche Evolutionsbiologen ein. Gleichzeitig häufen sich in der Biologie eindrückliche Indizien für einen Schöpfer. Grund genug, evolutionäre Erklärungen von verschiedenen Blickrichtungen einer kritischen Analyse zu unterziehen und den Design-Ansatz gegen die wichtigsten Einwände zu verteidigen.
Christentum und Europa
Vom 10. bis 13. September 2017 veranstaltete die Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Theologie den XVI. Europäischen Kongress für Theologie an der Theologischen Fakultät der Universität Wien. Der Kongress stand unter dem Thema «Christentum und Europa» und beschäftigte sich mit der Frage, welche Gestalt der europäische Kontinent dem Selbstverständnis des Christentums gegeben hat und welche aktuelle und zukünftige Bedeutung der christliche Glaube für die europäische Identität hat. Am ersten Tag ging es um das Christentum in der europäischen Geschichte, am zweiten um das Christentum in der europäischen Pluralität und am dritten um das Christentum in der europäischen Wissenskultur; im Mittelpunkt der Eröffnungsveranstaltung standen religiöse Vielfalt und Teilhabe im Einwanderungsland Österreich. Der Band dokumentiert die Plenar- und Sektionsvorträge des Kongresses.
[Christianity and Europe. XVIth European Congress for Theology] From September 10 to 13, 2017, the Scientific Society for Theology organized the XVIth European Congress for Theology at the Theological Faculty of the Vienna University. The congress, under the theme «Christianity and Europe», dealt with the question which specific self- image Christianity has been given by the European continent and what could be the current and future impact of the Christian faith on European identity. The subthemes of the three days were Christianity in European history, Christianity within European plurality, and Christianity in European knowledge culture. The opening event focused on the theme of religious diversity and participation in Austria, regarded as an immigration country. The volume documents the plenary and session presentations of the congress.

Herzstück Musizieren
Instrumentalpädagogik hat das Potenzial, erfülltes Musizieren nicht nur als Ziel von Lehren und Lernen anzusehen, sondern schon auf dem Wege dahin immer wieder möglich zu machen. In ihr ist die Sensibilität für das Künstlerische und mithin für ein sich selbst genügendes Geschehen mit ästhetischem Anspruch wach, das jedoch dem zielgerichteten didaktischen Tun durchaus in die Quere kommen kann. Die Beiträge dieses Bandes zeigen unterschiedliche Möglichkeiten, ein solcherart verstandenes Musizieren als Ausgangspunkt des instrumentalen Gruppenunterrichts theoretisch zu fassen und praktisch zum «Herzstück» des Unterrichts werden zu lassen.
