Preparation is without question the key to making this plan as easy as possible. It is also the key to making sure that the 7-day program becomes a catalyst to a lifelong healthy lifestyle instead of “yet another diet.” This is why I keep going on about making sure you read the entire book before you start because it is incredibly important to have the correct preparation in order to make the program easy and even enjoyable (as alien as that may sound at this stage).
If, for example, you wake up on the first morning of the program and you have to rush out and store for everything you need, the chances are you will be overwhelmed and throw in the towel at the first hurdle.
By reading the book, making sure you have everything you need, and planning and organizing the week, you will save yourself at least 90% of any stress or hassle you would have had to endure without getting yourself prepared.

The Juice Master’s 7 lbs in 7 Days Super Juice Pack
When testing this program on myself and others, I asked for as much feedback as possible in order to make the program as easy as possible. Everyone mentioned that a DVD showing exactly how to make each juice and smoothie, a coaching audio CD to keep motivated, and some kind of wall chart that had all the day-by-day juices and smoothies for easy reference would be extremely useful. They also mentioned that if there were some kind of pack that contained all of the main supplements in order to save time shopping and hunting, that would also be extremely helpful. So, after listening very carefully to all the feedback, we put together a “7 lbs in 7 Days Super Juice Pack.”
The pack includes the motivational 7 lbs in 7 Days CD; the 7 lbs in 7 Days DVD (which shows you how to make all of the juices in the program, gives many juicing tips, including how to work and clean a juicing machine and how to make a juice in super-fast time, and also has some footage of people who have done the program so you can see the results for yourself before you even start); a handy-size 7 lbs in 7 Days color-coded wall planner (with all the juice/smoothie recipes and the order in which to have the juices); some good-quality wheatgrass, spirulina, some Juice Master’s Super Greens and a Juice Master Flask—perfect for storing your juices.
The pack not only takes some of the legwork out of getting prepared, but also the CD and DVD are designed to keep you focused, motivated, and fully educated so that you actually complete the program. You will save money too as the items work out to be much cheaper when in the pack than bought individually. You can then re-use the DVD, CD, and wall chart in the future when you do the program again … and again. I’m also a great believer that if a job’s worth doing it’s worth doing right; if you get the pack you are sure to give yourself every chance of making sure you do it right.
It’s funny how many people will invest huge amounts of money on external personal hygiene but will rarely make any sort of investment in their inner sanctuary. The irony of this is that the external appearance is often a direct reflection of what’s happening on the inside.
If you have a smartphone or tablet you can now get the 7 lbs in 7 Days app. This has all of the videos, the audio coaching, all of the recipes, and an auto-generated shopping list. The app is perhaps the best companion to the book you can get and, although the DVD is over two hours long and has much more visual content than the app, the app is incredible value and for many invaluable.
Having said all of that, please remember that the 7 lbs in 7 Days super juice program can still be done without the pack or the app. I wish to make that very clear to all. I have added supplements because I cannot guarantee the quality of fruit and vegetables you will be getting. Not everyone reading this will be able to get hold of good locally grown organic produce and the added finest quality food supplements (not vitamin and mineral pills!) will make sure as well as the juices, you have a powerhouse of nutrients going into every cell in your body. Also, I put the pack and app together because the majority of people who have already done the program have asked for all or various aspects of it and I was asked by just about everyone if I could turn it into an app. I want to make this as easy for you as possible and, in today’s busy world, I know that if you can just pick up the phone or have a click on your mouse and get everything you need, it’s one less thing to have to think about. If you have the book, the pack, a juicer, and a blender you’re good to go! There will of course be people out there who will think I am selling here, and that’s you’re call if that’s the case. But I do not care what juicer you buy, what brand of spirulina, you get or if you get the DVD or wall planner or download the app—I just want you to get the results hundreds of thousands of people have already gotten over the years using this program and some of these items just make success much more likely. The juicers I recommend, for example, can mean the difference between success and failure alone. If you have a old juicer where you have to cut everything up and it takes forever to clean, then the chances of your getting on board with a juicing lifestyle will be much more unlikely than if you invest in a juicer that takes whole apples and is super fast to clean. Again, it’s your call what juicer you get and whether you include the supplements (please remember not all powders are produced the same!) but whatever you do, do whatever it takes to do the one-week juice-only program as it was intended to be done—the results will blow you away!

All the Juicy Stuff You Will Need for the Program
• A juice extractor. I get juicers sent to me from all over the world and I must say I have received my fair share of garbage. Whenever I put my name to a product I always like to make sure that it is good value. At one time this was out of my hands and a juicer with my name on it hit the shelves—it didn’t help my reputation. The good news is that I’m now in full and total control of which juicers and blenders have my endorsement. There are a few different types of juicers (see “Which Juicer?”) and I recommend just a couple that can do the job properly.
• A good blender/smoothie maker (see “Which Blender/Smoothie Maker?”). Many people already own a great blender, so look in your kitchen first because you don’t want to double up unnecessarily.
• Wheatgrass. You will either need a wheatgrass juicer and a tray of ready-grown wheatgrass, wheatgrass powder, or a Juice Master Wheatgrass Kit. There are several ways to get the goodness of this super food into the program. (See here or visit www.juicemaster.com.) Once again this is not compulsory, but as I have no idea of what quality fruits and vegetables you will have access to for the program, I highly recommend adding the supplements where possible. Wheatgrass, in particular, shouldn’t be left out if you can afford it.
• The 7 lbs in 7 Days CD. This can be bought separately and is a very good mental tool to help with the program. Clearly this is optional. (See “The Power of a Coach,”.) Remember this same coaching is on the app, so if you are downloading the app you will not need this.
• Juice Master’s Ultimate Superfood. (By the time you read this the name might have been changed to Juice Master’s Super Greens. This is due to a European Union ruling coming in where the term “Superfood” will no longer be able to be used.) I wish to make clear here that all the supplements are OPTIONAL.
