      Description: Edward Price Bell (1869-1943) was a foreign correspondent for the Chicago Daily News and roving correspondent for the Literary Digest. In the 1920s Bell also reported on the activities of the Ku Klux Klan for the Chicago Daily News, later publishing the articles in a pamphlet entitled "Creed of the Klansman." On the eve of World War II Bell held decidedly isolationist views, believing that American involvement in the European war was antithetical to achieving world peace. Series 1.
