      Description: Lev E. Dobriansky (1918-2008) was a professor of Economics at Georgetown University (1948-1986) and U.S. Ambassador to the Bahamas (1982 to 1986). Dobriansky served as the chairman of the National Captive Nations Committee and the Victims of Communism Foundation, and as president of the American Council for World Freedom from 1976 to 1979 and the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America from 1949 to 1982.       Description: Dodd (1907-1971) was a U.S. representative from Connecticut, 1953-1957, and a senator from Connecticut, 1959-1971. During World War II, Dodd handled cases for the U.S. Justice Department involving espionage and sabotage that helped cripple Nazi fifth column efforts to destabilize the United States war effort. His work led to the convictions of Count Anastase Vonsiatsky and others on spying charges. The collection consists primarily of material from Dodd's Senate years and the Nuremberg war crimes trial before the International Military Tribunal from 1945-1946.
