      Description: A. Eugene Cox (1905-1992) was former resident director of Providence Cooperative Farm, Holmes County, Mississippi, and later executive director of the Delta Foundation. The papers include newspaper clippings from 1955 discussing a mass meeting under the auspices of the pro-segregation White Citizens Councils in which Cox and Dr. David R.
