NO, GO, And TELL! Ms. Clementine's Personal Safety Lesson is an empowering and comprehensive sexual abuse prevention lesson written for five to nine year olds. This story follows Ms. Clementine, a health teacher, visiting an elementary school classroom to share a message about personal safety. During the lesson, the students discuss and learn different types of touches and feelings, including appropriate and inappropriate touching and viewing of their private parts. On a whiteboard slide presentation, Ms. Clementine reviews body part names, followed by teaching three important safety words that will give children the power to protect themselves from touches and feelings they don't like. At the end of the lesson, when one of the students privately shares with Ms. Clementine that she had a bad touch, Ms. Clementine knows exactly what to do and say to make her feel better and safe.

My spiritual poetry is for any and all whom are on a chosen path of spirituality or even contemplating their own path of spirituality. Our roads in life have many paths and learning experiences. To encompass these learning lessons as blessings is truly accepting who you are spiritually. My future book of poetry will represent the archangels and how they can and do help us when we call upon them for assistance in our lives. Being able to write such beautiful poetry leads me on my path to a deeper understanding of who we truly are.
My family enjoys traveling, primarily by auto, but we have also taken our sons across the country by Amtrak. Visits included a number of stops at several National Parks. During a recent trip from California, I was impacted by our spectacular South West geography. The images haunted my mind until the idea blossomed to write about them. I chose to appeal to young people, and to inspire them to learn about, and visit many beautiful parts of the United States.
Love. Fear. Joy. Anxiety. Buddy, a Boston terrier, and Sable, a miniature schnauzer, demonstrated these feelings from day to day. Eureka! Sharon had an idea! Buddy and Sable would socially and emotionally support children and connect them to the realities of life. Many thanks go to Sharon’s dear friend and neighbor, Nolan Haynes, owner of Buddy and Sable, for allowing her to use them as characters and bring her stories to life. Sharon had a wonderful opportunity interacting with Buddy and Sable and has written about their delightful personalities.
