It was the Grand Final on Saturday. Carrot the Parrot was the Coach for the Birds' team. But he'd lost his voice. Sleuth Astrid had to find it, in time for the Grand Final because the team needed the Voice of the Coach. Was the Voice captured in the TV 'Footy' studio? Lost down his throat? Was a Voice Coach any use? What about the Speakeasy? Or the Voice-over on the TV Footy panel or on Talk-back? And then there's the Bird Wedding of the Year. Carrot was supposed to be the MC (Master of Ceremonies). As usual, Sleuth Astrid the Mind-Reading Chook, solves the problem.
Sleuth Astrid is a hi-tech chook, who rides a Harley, plays e-games and finds lost things.

The Magician has lost his sense of humour. Astrid must find that before the 3pm show. Luckily, Astrid is also a mind-reading chook.
From his hot air balloon flight over the zoo, sleuth Art sees something suspicious that later helps him solve a mystery.

As winner of talkback radio's 'Going Up' competition, quiz whiz Art shares the prize of a hot air balloon flight with mates India and Mars Bar. It's India's birthday soon and Art hasn't bought a present. Mars Bar comes regardless.

The prize must be used at 4.30am next morning, but 9.am sharp on Wednesday is Mrs. Tasker's class visit to the Zoo. Luckily the flight path goes over the Zoo. The children are suspicious of passenger Mr. Brand who takes special photos. Luckily the balloon lands in time for the children's excursion. They meet the Cyclist, Shorty, and the Butterfly Expert and Kip the Zoo teacher. Art suspects all of them.

Later, in the zoo grounds, Art checks out the mysterious Butterfly House clue. After sleuthing around the Zoo, they solve the mystery. A smelly solution. Zoo Poo Cake.
Art the part-time spy is at it again, and this time he's got birds on the brain.

Mr Snippet's Crested Featherfoot Fantail is missing. It's his best bird and unless it's found, his wedding birds-for-hire service might go out of business.

Art loves to be faced with a problem and he sets out to catch the thief, with help from his friend India (when she's not collecting dog droppings for her science experiment) and, as usual, no help from Mars Bar!
On Tournament Day, teams solve problems. Art the part-time spy doesn't want to take part. He's not keen on reading and he can't spell TOURNAMENT, but he's good at solving problems. His friend India makes him join her Tournament of Minds team. They get ready to present their problem. But then thieves try to steal secrets from the university. With India's help, Art solves an unexpected mystery. Tournament of Minds is where problems are solved, and Art is a great problem… Solver.
