В сборник включены документы и материалы о встречах руководителей СССР и Египта в Москве, обмен посланиями между ними, отрывки из книг о египетско-советских отношениях ближайшего соратника Насера М. Х. Хейкала. В формате PDF A4 сохранен издательский макет книги.
Zeitschrift Polizei & Wissenschaft
Kompetentes Handeln basiert allgemein auf der Kombination praktischer Erfahrung und wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse. Die Zeitschrift Polizei & Wissenschaft bietet die Möglichkeit zur wissenschaftlichen Kommunikation polizeirelevanter Themenbereiche. Sie versteht sich als Schnittstelle zwischen Wissenschaft und Polizei. Durch ihre interdisziplinäre Ausrichtung werden unterschiedlichste wissenschaftliche und praktische Perspektiven miteinander vernetzt. Dazu zählen insbesondere die Bereiche Psychologie, Rechtswissenschaft, Soziologie, Politikwissenschaft, Medizin, Arbeitswissenschaft und Sportwissenschaft. Aber natürlich wird auch polizeirelevantes Wissen der Disziplinen genutzt, die nicht klassisch mit dem Begriff Polizei verknüpft sind, wie z.B. Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Sprachwissenschaften, Informatik, Elektrotechnik und ähnliche. Polizei & Wissenschaft regt als breit angelegtes Informationsmedium zur Diskussion an und verknüpft Themenbereiche. Sie erscheint vierteljährlich und geht mit ihrer interdisziplinären Interaktivität über einen einseitigen und fachlich eingeschränkten Informationsfluss hinaus. Dazu nutzt sie die Möglichkeiten des Internets und fördert durch die Organisation von Veranstaltungen auch eine direkte Kommunikation.

Long before this work, here in an edition containing three volumes, two of them of biographical nature, was first published, the authors cherished the hope that it could be a genuine narrative history of the county and wanted to be personally instrumental in achieving so important a result. Their attention was especially directed to the matter by their observations during their connection with the schools, from which they became convinced of the extremely elementary character of the general knowledge of this county's history, even in relation to the Revolution, whereof, indeed, anything like a well-coordinated understanding is most exceptional among the people, and quite incapable of being taught to the young because of the unsuitability for that purpose of all books heretofore published that bear on the subject. In formulating the plan for the present work they had fundamentally in view a lucid continuous narrative, thorough in its treatment of the outlines of the subject and reasonably attentive to local details without extending to minuteness. These lines have been followed throughout. This is volume two out of three, containing the first part of the biographies of hundreds of important persons.

Die Frithjof-Saga
Die Frithjof-Saga ist eine aus Island stammende Heldensaga, die in ihrer heutigen Form etwa um das Jahr 1300 entstanden ist. Sie ist eine Fortsetzung der Saga um Thorstein Víkingsson und spielt hauptsächlich im Norwegen des 8. Jahrhunderts. Ursprünglich in Versform geschrieben, entledigt sich diese Ausgabe dieses Stils und nutzt stattdessen leicht verständliche Prosa. Darüber hinaus ist diese Ausgabe mit wunderschönen Bildern des schwedischen Malers August Malmström versehen.
