It is a very exciting time when a new puppy or dog comes into the household for everyone in the family.
The first couple of days are going to be hard and require a lot of your attention for a couple of reasons, but the most obvious reason being that the new puppy needs to adjust to it’s new home and owners. How to Love Your Dog
Now, some people might think that this section is not even needed, but some people really are not sure how to do simple things like this. In their defense, it can be hard with certain breeds of dogs that take a long time to warm up to people. Now, in this section I am going to explain a couple of things that you can do to show your dog some love.
1.Take your dog for a walk or give them plenty of exercise. This will show your dog that you care for them enough to take them outside and spend special time with them, one on one. Sometimes you can even tell if your dog needs to go out if they start whining, or are standing/sitting by the door. Make sure you watch for these signs, as they can be very helpful during training and during the life of your dog.
2.Pet your dog. It is a very simple action, but conveys a lot of love to your dog. They will appreciate you a lot for it, and happen to love it. Some dogs especially love to be rubbed behind their ears or on their belly’s. It is one of the best ways to show your little puppy or dog affection.
3.Talk to them. Now, this may seem odd to you. Talk to your dog? But they can’t understand you? But the truth is dogs can understand that you are showing them love and affection by the way you talk to them when you are talking to them nicely. Make sure to give them compliments, and be in a positive mood.
4.Make sure your dog has its own little area. It will show that you respect your dog and love him enough to give him his own area to sleep and live in by himself. It should not be surrounded by boxes or anything like that. It should be alone, and by itself so that it seems like the dog’s own bedroom.
5.Reward your dog when he does something good. This will show him that you recognize that he is doing something good and shows that you appreciate his efforts to do something good. It also shows that
