Степень выраженности молекулярно-биологического повреждения нервной ткани ГМ и СМ прямо пропорциональна продолжительности жизни человека. Нервные и психические болезни, в исходе которых лежит формирование органического морфологического дефекта нервной ткани, являются фундаментальной биологической и биофизической основой сокращения продолжительности жизни почти для всех болезней цивилизации. Именно морфологические дефекты нервной ткани ГМ и СМ сегодня легко объективизировать при помощи стандартной компьютерной томографии (КТ), так что легко выявить объем повреждения путем проведения денситометрии (программы компьютерного анализа изучения плотности ткани) КТ нервной ткани и рассчитать объем ишемизированной ткани ГМ, который соответствует диапазону плотности нервной ткани от 10 до 15 хаунсфилдов.
