Nos regocijamos con razón al escuchar historias de ministerios realizados fielmente a pesar del escaso fruto porque entendemos que comunican algo significativo acerca de nuestro Dios y sus siervos verdaderos. Sin embargo… El liderazgo efectivo debe preguntarse siempre si los odres que tenemos son adecuados para el vino nuevo. La teología tradicional de occidente a aportado varios beneficios a todo el mundo, pero también a fallado al no impulsar lo suficiente el desarrollo de la tarea teológica al nivel local que requiere cada contexto. Durante la consulta internacional y trienial de ICETE de 2015, líderes de instituciones devvarias partes del mundo, presentaron sus revisiones de la educación teológica basadas en la investigación diseñadas para mejorar la comprensión de las verdaderas necesidades y para preparar mejor a los estudiantes en el ministerio dentro de sus propios contextos.
