Emory's Story
After finally finding the perfect house with an apple tree in the front yard, Paul and his wife are told by its owner that the house comes with enormous responsibility: the apple tree and an object the owner had hidden inside the walls must be protected. After reading a manuscript written by the old man’s dead wife, Paul thinks the old man has lost touch with reality.
