Body Trip is a piece that has its own requirements. A varied basis for both actors, because of the interaction of the voices. While one side is maintaining the basis in form of a swing pattern, the other one is soloing over it. There are also rhythmic gimmicks of jazz in 3/4 and 4/4 time, which ends with a trip to samba.
Deeply
Duets are nothing unusual in jazz even under percussion instruments, as it is in the case with this arrangement. Two drummers playing more or less a open «straight ahead» duet. This piece varies in time signatures 3/4, 4/4 and 5/4, whereby the common cymbal phrasing is supplemented by turnarounds and various comping figures. Common rudiments such as flams, drags and rolls find their place in the piece, as well as a short passage based on the «2nd Line» Drumming of New Orleans.
Katinka
A piece for three drummers, which has its challenges. Rather driven in terms of tempo, the piece builds up with sixteenth note grooves, á la Clyde Stubblefield, to a more complex sequence with metric modulations. It then moves in a kind of «Latin feel» into a double-time feel. A piece that does not get boring for the listener.
Rockin` Socks
Rockin` Socks takes up an idea that was pretty rare in rock music that three drummers act together and complement each other at the same time. Simple eighth notes are building up to a double time feel which are being broken afterwards, followed up by other powerful grooves of quarter notes. Standard fills à la John Bonham are just as present as simple rudiments, which are occasionally played in unison. Many elements of Rock are entierly mixed up into one piece of music.

.Der zweite Band umfasst 40 Solo-Stücke für eine erweiterte Marsch-Besetzung mit Kleiner Trommel, Parade Trommel, Großer Trommel, Tom Toms und Becken. Die Soli, welche es in unterschiedlichen Längen gibt, unterteilen sich in verschiedene Bereiche. Während man im ersten Kapitel einfache Rhythmiken spielt, setzt es sich mit filigraneren Strukturen wie Vorschläge, Wirbel und Akzente und anderem fort.
Etüden für Snare Drum im 4/4-Takt - Band 3
Der weitere Band 3, aus der Reihe «Eüden für Snare-Drum im 4-4-Takt», kümmert sich um die Entwicklung von Vorschlägen und Trommelwirbeln. Anfänglich wird nur ein einfacher Vorschlag verwendet, was im weiteren Verlauf aber auf doppelte, dreifache und vierfache Vorschläge erweitert wird. Folgende Etüden sind als Vorübung für Wirbelschläge konzipiert, bis hin zur Ausführung von Wirbeln.
Solos für Marschtrommler - Band 1
Eine Ausgabe von 50 Solo Stücken für Marschkapellen mit einer kleinen Aufstellung von Kleiner Trommel, Großer Trommel und Becken. Gegliedert in unterschiedlicher Längen mit: 8, 12, 16, 24, 32 Takten. Die Soli sind im 2/4 und 6/8 Takt notiert, und variieren im Schwierigkeitsgrad unter anderem mit einfachen Rhythmen, Vorschlägen, und Wirbeln.
Solos for Marching Drums - Volume 2
The second Volume contains 40 solo pieces for an extended instrumentation of a Marching section, with snare drum, parade drum, Bass Drum, tom toms and cymbals. The Solos, wich are written in different length, are divided in separate Sections. Whereas in the first chapter simple rhythms are being played, more filigree structures, like grace notes rolls and accents, are followed after.
