Knowing that he needs to be brave, he seeks out the help of others to find his missing parents in an adventure that takes him through the park. Along the way he makes some new friends who help him to calm down.

What she never realized is that the things she is telling others eventually do hurt others. When she begins to share gossip, one of the people impacted by the gossip overhears it and confronts her.

    Gabe is a shy young man who is routinely tormented by the school bully Marcus. On his way home after school one day, he decides to take a shortcut through the old farm on his way home. As he passes a well, he hears shouting coming from the well. Looking in, he can that Marcus is trapped in the bottom of the well. While he is very upset at the way he is treated by Marcus, he decides to do the right thing and gets the help of a grown up.

    Frances and the Dentist

    After hearing terrifying tales of the dentist from his older brother Ralph, Frances the rabbit is terrified. As he sits in the waiting room, his mind goes over all the terrifying things he says. When the dentist Mr. Tortoise comes to the door in a mask and calls back Frances goes and begins to cry. That is when Mr. Tortoise removes the mask and shows him that there is nothing scary in back and even shows him how to brush his teeth before sending him on his way with a lollipop.

    Everyone Is The Same

    Thelma the Toucan, Steve the Seagull and Violet the Vulture all meet at the top of the tallest tree in the forest. Each of them looks the others over, under the assumption that they are different and better than the others because they have different features. What they find out is that beyond the physical attributes, talents and what they eat, they each are an important and beyond their subtle differences they are the same in a lot of other ways.

    Digger is Different

    On Mr. McGuire's farm, all the animals have others who are similar to them. But when Digger comes to the farm, he isn't like anyone else on the farm. The others are curious about him and have him feeling like an outcast. What they quickly find, is that being different is great and even when we all look the same, there is something that makes each of us different.

    Diane loves soccer and has a lucky ball of her own. When the coach calls her into the office, Diane forgets to bring her ball with her. When she comes back out, she finds that the ball is missing and she knows that she needs to solve the mystery before it is too late.

    Robin and Harper are cousins who grew up on detective fiction and TV shows. Inspired by British books about investigator kids, they decide to start their own detective crew. They begin recruiting from their group of friends, although the pool of people interested shrinks significantly after they all find out that Robin and Harper are serious and not just organizing a lunchtime game. They eventually recruit Oppie, a boy from their school who while not unpopular, is a bit of a follower and afraid to take risks. Joining them from school is also George. He joins for reasons he claims as 'wanting to see you all make fools of yourselves'.

    Cassie and Lilly`s Secret

    Cassie moves from the city into the home of her Nana. Her parents are off to attend to the rainforests in South America. They often send her odd gifts and notes about how important it is to follow her heart and to protect the plants and animals around her. Cassie explores the meadow. She makes friends with the animals and learns the names of the plants. She is haunted by a face she finds, looking up at her from the pond. Although it looks just like her, it is not her reflection! The girl under the surface of the water eventually leads her to a beautiful metal gate hidden under the waterfall that cascades into the pond. The gate is locked with a padlock in the shape of a flower.

    Boris Has a Change Of Heart

    Boris is a 12 year old boy from Boston who has been sent to stay with his Grandparents in England for the Summer Holidays. Somewhat of a troublemaker at school, Boris has a surly and nasty personality that has been getting him in to trouble with his classmates and teachers.
