Из дневников, писем и фотографий сплетается единая дорога, которую вы сможете увидеть, дорога, по которой прошли ваши предки, и те, кто выжил, пройдя по ней, всю свою жизнь пытались о ней забыть, и как минимум – не рассказывать, потому что о рассказах про войну можно сказать так: Красивые не верны, а верные не красивы. Справочник в 52 томах подробных военных биографий советских военачальников, служивших в РККА и получивших персональное воинское звание комбриг с 1935 года по 1940 год. В 42-й том вошли комбриги с фамилиями на букву Ф, кроме комбригов НКВД и РККФ – они войдут в отдельные тома. Книга составлена по архивным документам РГВА – таким как приказы НКО СССР, списки командно-начальствующего состава РККА, учетно-послужные карты. Многие сведения публикуются впервые.
