APPROACH to rapid Covid-19 CURE & APPLICATION TO POTENTIAL FUTURE PATHOGENS BEYOND HUMMANKIND'S IMMUNITY; & SPACE-AGE APPLICATIONS UNDER PROPOSED UN COLABORATION

    Dr. Elias Shanyengana

Both Special ISSUES of ScienceDevMag-VOL2 ISSUE 1 A & B are written as e-books detailing current understanding and suggesting new and comprehensive solutions to today's leading contemporary global conundrums being a) global pathogenic Pandemics such as Covid-19 and future similar ailments that are anticipated to more prevalent & calamitous; b) Solutions to remedy future prevalence and observed devastating effects of such pandemics by providing tangible proposed bio-engineering-based solutions such as the herein-proposed Rapid In-situ Diagnostics & Instantaneous Cure / Correction – "RAIDIC" system, The proposed RAIDIC system would surpass most current proposals on the current search for a Covid-19 cure since it's more comprehensive; can be easily customized & even re-designed as an in-situ / wearable device to enable Oxygen supply and Carbon Dioxide excretion from the body sufficiently to render breathing unnecessary. Such would be an essential tool in life threatening oxygen depleting illnesses, firestorms & rescue operations and nowadays space exploration and eventual habitation. The books also detail proposals to address underdevelopment as a prevalent susceptibility to proliferation and observed recurrent catastrophic impacts of such ailments to humanity.
The author is a holder of a PhD (Chemistry- University of Stellenbosch, South Africa); MSc (Environmental Engineering -focused on chemical & civil engineering of natural systems -KTH Stockholm Sweden) & BSc Chemistry & Zoology (University of Namibia) and numerous other technical Diplomas from Universities in the US, UK and India. He is the renowned primary postulator and discoverer of globally-popularised adaptations of surface physical and chemical properties of fog-basking beetles of the Namib desert with cross-cutting applications in human technologies (from new-age water generation, engine cooling & de-watering systems; various nanotech applications and beyond) as captured in Nature Magazine, Science Magazine, Scientific American and numerous other leading global scientific journals during 2001 when his groundbreaking research was first introduced to the global scientific community; and this discovery continues to inspire new research, innovations and publications to date. He ever-since continued to uphold this ingenuity in e.g. his proposed large scale in-situ greenhouse gas chemical conversion into economic goods; discovered a potentially world 2nd / 3rd biggest Uranium & miscellaneous deposit merely using freely-available Google Earth (www.namibianuclearcorporation.com ) as well as new Heavy Rare Earths and Gold deposits. The author's 2009 proposed SADC Governments co-owned global e-tourism venture ("Internet Global Tours" – attached Namibian company registration details CC/2010/1345 + 4 other then reserved appropriate company names) remains viable todate & could be pursued – with anticipated returns in excess of U$ 100s of Billions per annum for SADC Governments if implemented as per the author's 2009 comprehensive design (as opposed to some of the new approaches recently mentioned on CNN and South Africa's Carte Blanche TV programme that merely utilizes a TV output; have neither of the multi-$Billion user-interfaces nor multi-$Billion revenue-streams proposed in the author's 2009 proposal); and most unfortunately only end-up benefitting private corporations as opposed to larger national development coffers & Governments that make such opportunities feasible in the first place.
Both ISSUES introduce the author's above innovations and interventions, however, ScienceDevMag-VOL2 ISSUE 1 A details the proposed (UNGAOS = UN GLOBAL ALLIANCE ON SUSTAINABILITY or UNGAOUD = UN GLOBAL ALLIANCE ON UNDER DEVELOPMENT) and programmes towards rapid sustainable industrilisation of developing-nations. It also details modalities for global realization of essential global UN-Academia collaboration under the above programme to rapidly facilitate and oversee R& D as well as pursue herein-proposed merger & alignment of national and global funding & development objectives and instruments in pilot developing countries with contemporary collective global knowledge & expertise towards transformation of developing countries (preliminarily in 2-4 poor nations per continent) into sustainable emerging or industrialised economies within 5 – 10 year timeframes prior to broader global replication.
ScienceDevMag-VOL2 ISSUE 1 B includes all the above but further details the proposed "RAIDIC" system that is anticipated to surpass most current proposals on the ongoing accelerated global research for a Covid-19 Cure; and RAIDIC would be more comprehensive since it could be easily customized & easily upgraded as an in-situ / wearable device to enable Oxygen supply and Carbon Dioxide excretion from the body sufficiently to render breathing unnecessary- an essential tool in life threatening oxygen depleting illnesses; firestorms & rescue operations and nowadays space exploration and eventual habitation.
My earlier 2017 VOL 1 ISSUE 1 (available on AMAZON – ASIN: B06XJ6Y6W7 ) expounds on proposed projects; programmes; new innovative approaches and global cooperation towards Leap-frogging socio-economic & sustainable industrial advancement of developing nations: opportunities; approaches; scientific innovation; business concepts & innovative solutions to global challenges" e.g. therein author's proposed automated large-scale greenhouse gas conversion systems to desirable products for coal-based power plants and oil refineries.
Both the above and / similar approaches are urgently required considering the persistently deteriorating socio-economic conditions in many a developing nation; the anticipated prevalence of even more cataclysmic global pandemics that would further disproportionately impoverish such already vulnerable societies; and are anticipated to bear a pronounced upshot on humanity's collective well-being, as well as constitute essential discourse, strategies and actions necessary for humanity's sustained advancement.
