      Acknowledgements

I wish to thank all the dedicated students and their families who participated in the creation of the pictures for this book. I would

also like to acknowledge Millburn School District in New Jersey for allowing me to take pictures in the school setting and for having

the foresight to hire a social skills consultant to create school-based social skills training programs for their district.

Kelly Gilpin, my editor, must also be mentioned, as she made sure the pictures actually came together to form a book.

Finally, my family deserves praise for their patience as I sat at the computer at times when they wanted to talk and play. They also

agreed to pose for some of the pictures and did not even request a modeling fee.
